The iconic VW campervan showcased by The Donnelly Group has had a mega makeover. The new version has lost none of its charm … but it is now incredibly spacious and comfortable, has the fuel economy for longer journeys, and runs with solid stability and true California styling.
The VW design team has given the camper the chunky, bold and confident face of its vans and other commercial vehicles. The California also has two front doors with blackout curtains to the cab, as well as a sun visor on the windscreen and illuminated steps. A sliding side door reveals enough space for four to sit, play, cook and sleep. The California has a fitted kitchen on board, which includes worktops, two hob rings, a 42-litre fridge, and two folding chairs that stow away in the tailgate. At the touch of a button, a double bed with mattress pops up for comfier nights.
